Submission Guidelines

General guidelines

  • Please use the paper template.
  • The usual length of papers is 15 to 25 pages written in the template (incl. references).
  • The text should not be bolded or underlined.
  • Maximum of two levels of headings can be used.

Requirements on abstract

Each abstract should consist of 150-250 words. The abstract should provide a clear overview about the paper in one paragraph. Suggested structure of an abstract: opening sentence (background), goals, methods and data, results, conclusion. Abstracts must not contain references or multiple paragraphs.

Reference guidelines

  • APA (7th edition) referencing style is required. Authors submitting an article to the editorial office after November 17, 2024, are required to use automated citation managers, such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.
  • Use reference management software, e.g. EndNote, Mendeley or Zotero.
  • Citation in the text has to be by the author's last name and year of publication with punctuation, e.g. (Kotler, 2011) or (Sheth and Sisodia, 2010).
  • A series of citations should be listed in alphabetical order and separated by semicolons, e.g. (Kotler, 2011; Porter, 2000).
  • If a particular page, section, or equation is cited, the page number should be indicated within the parentheses, e.g. (Kotler, 2011, p. 45).
  • If two or more works by the same author have the same publication date, they should be differentiated by letters, e.g. (Kotler, 2000a) and (Kotler, 2000b).
  • Multiple citations by the same author are separated by a comma, e.g. (Kotler, 2000, 2002).
  • For citations of up to two authors, all authors’ names should be listed. For three and more authors, the first author’s name followed by “et al.” should be used, e.g. (Kotler et al., 2000).
  • All references have to be cited in the text (uncited papers must not be included in the reference list).
  • References have to be listed alphabetically.
